Originating from the small town of Boden in northern Sweden, An Abstract Illusion has been around since 2007. Within their own unique brand of progressive death metal infused with black metal, 70’s prog rock, jazz and electronica, the band creates a massive soundscape where beauty meets brutality and calmness meets chaos.
Their debut full-length “Illuminate the Path” was released in 2016 and their highly anticipated second album “Woe” was released via Willowtip Records in 2022 and has since received massive praise around the metal world.
