Nospūn is an American progressive metal band from North Carolina. Combining virtuosic playing ability, sophisticated songwriting, and lyrical depth, Nospūn’s sound is reminiscent of progressive greats like Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Haken.
Nospūn debuted in 2023, yet despite the band’s newness, the respective members each have over a decade of writing, recording, and performing experience. All this experience and more was brought to bear for the creation of their debut record, “Opus”, a full-length concept album.
Since its release in May 2023, “Opus” has earned a tremendous positive response that only continues to spread; The Prog Report called “Opus” “…one of the more impressive prog metal debut albums you’re likely to hear”, and referring to the band, Metal Temple said Nospūn is “…the natural next step of Progressive music in America.”

Nospūn will play ProgPower Europe for the first time. The band will make their European debut in 2025.
