Because we run progPower Europe without any big sponsoring, we are dependent on volunteers. Luckily the Baarlo community loves our festival. Most volunteers are not that interested in the music, but they all love the festival the way it is. Without all these lovely people, it was not possible to organize ProgPower Europe. That’s the main reason to support some associations in Baarlo. It’s our way to thank the Baarlo community, the least we can do.
Most of our volunteers are a member of the local soccerclub VV Baarlo. We sponsor the club in different ways as you can seen in the fotos. Our most visible sponsoring are tracksuits for the girls team, in co-operation with Kasteel de Berckt.
Ammyday is an annual meeting of USA Cars & Trucks in the center of Baarlo. Upfront they always start with a tour around Baarlo. If you like USA Cars, you definitely should visit Ammyday someday, it will be worth it.
One of the oldest associations in Baarlo, Schutterij Sint-Antonius & Sint-Petrus. In 1999 they did win the most important contest, the ‘Oud Limburgs Schuttersfeest’ (OLS). Therefore the edition of this contest was in Baarlo in 2000.
Jong Nederland is an association for all the kids in Baarlo, in different age groups. All groups have a weekly meeting with different activities every week. At the end of the year all groups go on a short holiday for a week.
